What is Bootleg Archive?

Bootleg Archive is a database of unofficial recordings that are traded among private collectors in the bootleg world. We are an online music community dedicated to storing information about live audio music. Bootleg Archive provides a web interface for users to organize their bootleg collections, as well as find other members to negotiate trades, and tracking which recordings are in circulation. Unlike other sites, Bootleg Archive provides not only core information, but also checksum verification and graphics files, lineage information, setlists, notes, comments, ratings, and related links.

The entries are submitted and maintained by the members, as are band information areas. There is a forum and P2P Direct Connect hub where recordings are shared and exchanged by members.
