DOWNLOADING LOSSLESS AUDIO FILES

When you register here on the website, you also create the username and password that will be used in the Bootleg Archive hub. However, at the present time, you will have to register your password manually when you log in there. Just type !regme <password>, and it's done. For detailed instructions, type !reghelp. Also see the registration page here.

You will need a Direct Connect client to access the hub; go here for instructions on setting up DC++. If you still have problems logging into the hub, please email support@bootlegarchive.com.

DC++ is an open source C++ client for the Direct Connect file-sharing network protocol. DC++ does everything that Neo-Modus Direct Connect does, only better and has a more feature rich interface. For the most recent software and documentation updates, please visit the official DC++ website.

WARNING: Violations of the rules will get you permanently banned. If you feel you were unjustly banned from the Bootleg Archive Hub, please email support.

Are you ready to download bootleg files from other members of this website?

If you are using DC++, and assuming you have installed it properly, start up the program and go to File>Public Hubs. A window will popup and type dc.bootlegarchive.com in the Manual Connect field. Then click the Connect button. You will then be prompted to enter your password. Upon entry, if you have not followed the Bootleg Archive Hub Rules, then you will be kicked from the hub by one of the many bots (scripts) we have running. Please make sure all of your settings (File>Settings) are configured correctly (check nickname, connection type (at least dsl or cable), shared folders, upload slots, etc.). If you are still having difficulty, email support and we will try to help you resolve it.

Bootleg Archive does not have any bootleg music files on this website. After you setup your Direct Connect client, go to dhcp://dc.bootlegarchive.com.
